Education Program at Acadia Wildlife Center
Our Environmental Education Programs include a tour of our Nature Center, meeting our ambassadors animals including a Red Fox, Porcupine, Red Tailed Hawk, Bald Eagle, Owls, Turtles, Bats, and so much more, and education on our natural ecosystems and how we do our part to heal injured wild animals.
A wonderful time for all ages. We require everyone to be registered, but we don't charge you to come. We ask you to consider donating, our only source of funds to help and care for the wild animals comes from the general public.
Directions:
Google will attempt to mislead you up "Pine Heath RD" off of 102, but don’t do it, instead go up "Kittredge Brook RD" (which is the next road after Pine Heath if your traveling towards Somesville). Go 3/4 of a mile up Kitteradge Brook Rd and turn right onto Black Dog RD, then take the first and only left on Black Dog RD.
